Women in Automotive

During the Women in Automotive workshop, participants will learn the basic parts of a car, check the engine oil level, coolant level and condition, and inspect belts and hoses.  In addition, they will change a tire and inspect the pressure and condition of the tire. They will also learn how to inspect the condition of the brakes and the brake fluid.

Participants need not attend all four sessions.

Hosted by the City College Transportation Department

 



Minimum class size is 5 with a maximum of 10 participants. 


Participants 15 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.



 

In the event that a non-credit course at City College does not meet the minimum number of participants, it will be canceled and participants will be called at least 5 (five) days prior to the start of the course. In the event a course is canceled, a full refund will be given or the fee can be transferred to pay for a different course.
