The City College Health Scholars (CCHS) Program is a short, non-credit course designed to launch students into college-level science coursework with confidence, realistic expectations, and a supportive peer network. Grounded in an asset-based community model, the program recognizes that students enter with unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives. 

The course fosters a cohort of like-minded individuals who will serve as a mutual support system throughout their higher education journey. Appropriate for recent high school graduates, students repeating coursework, or those transitioning into healthcare and allied health programs, this workshop empowers participants to identify their own learning assets while collaborating with peers to build a resilient professional community.
