COURSE DESCRIPTION: Introduction to Welding is a 32-hour non-credit course that introduces basic welding processes. This training includes different types of joints, shop safety and practices, welding equipment and minor repair, oxy-fuel cutting and welding processes, also introduces the idea of welder testing and certifications. Safe practices and operation of tools and equipment are explained and demonstrated.
This class will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 - 9:00 pm. Class dates are July 9 - July 25, 2024.
