Nurse Assistant Course

(Varied Schedule -- students will receive complete schedule the first day of class)

Class/Lab Hours – 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Clinical Hours - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 

Practice Lab Day - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Test Date - 8:00 am 

BLS training will be available during the course of this training. Students must be BLS certified prior to clinical experience. We offer this class as a convenience to students but if they are already certified or want to take a class elsewhere in the community, they are not required to attend this day.

Registration Fee $750.00

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND FEES AFTER ACCEPTANCE INTO PROGRAM:
* Criminal Background Check - $56.00

* Urine Drug Testing - $30.00

* Uniform - Scrubs (any solid color) 

* American Heart Association CPR (can be completed in conjunction with this course, see above) - $60.00 for on-site training

* TB testing (within the last year, two step if never done or not within last year)

* Text Book (provided in class)

* Proof of Immunization (MMR, Tetanus/Diphtheria, Hepatitis B series,  (prior to clinical portion of class))

* Name Badge - $5.00

Note:  This course will prepare students to sit for the CNA licensing exam which will be given at the end of the course. Testing fee is $97 (in addition to Registration & Fee costs).

Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds In the event that a non-credit course at City College does not meet the minimum number of participants, it will be canceled and participants will be called at least 5 (five) days prior to the start of the course. In the event a course is canceled, a full refund will be given or the fee can be transferred to pay for a different course. If you must cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund if it is canceled 5 (five) business days prior to the start date of the program or course. After this date there will be no refunds.
